VYÄSA PÜJÄ 2019

As it is said that one who has not experienced GURU in his life, he just doesn’t knows what he is missing in his life..the presence of GURU Is the only auspicious thing in life. We, KARM Devotees, are those BLESSED ones who have been BLESSED to be under the DIVINE SHELTER of our ÇRÉ GURUDEVA and our fortune knows no bounds, as we are BLESSED with the Opportunity to do VYÄSA PÜJÄ of our reverred ÇRÉ GURUDEVA.

This year, the AUSPICIOUS VYÄSA PÜJÄ was performed on 16th day of July 2019.

KARM Devotees, as always, began preparations days and months before the Occasion, for the pleasure of the LORD of their Hearts. From searching for venue to searching for gifts, from finalising the colour to finalising the theme, from making arrangements for Caterer to placing order for garlands etc, everything went in accordance with other arrangements .

All Devotees put in lots of effort to choose and finalise the designs, colours and flowers for the Garlands to be offered by each one to ÇRÉ GURUDEVA, for this is the only Festival where everyone gets this Rarest Opportunity. Similarly, opulent gifts for serving Devotees were sensitively searched for and finalized by the Devotees.

Observing the KARM culture, Devotees gathered at the Venue one day before the Festival Day to decorate the place to welcome ÇRÉ GURUDEVA. Orange, yellow and white was the colour set and star was the theme. Backdrop was set by some Devotees while hangings for roof were prepared by others, some prepared frame for Deities Altar while some laid the Vyäsa Äsana… turning the place into a very beautifully decorated Hall.

Then arrived the ever awaited Blissful VYÄSA PÜJÄ DAY.. Devotees gathered at the Venue with their beautiful aromatic Garlands to be offered to ÇRÉ GURUDEVA and the entire Venue appeared like a beautiful garden of colourful varieties of flowers.

Final touch to the decoration and other preparations was given and soon arrived the time when amidst the playing of karatälas, mådaìgas, sounds of çaìkhas and ullu dhvani, and singing of Kértanas, ÇRÉ GURUDEVA ENTERED the Hall.

ÇRÉ GURUDEVA paid obeisances to the DEITIES, performed GURU PÜJÄ of ÇRÉ ÇRÉ BÄBÄJÉ MAHÄRÄJA and then presided over the VYÄSA ÄSANA marking the auspicious commencement of the Program.

Devotees availed the opportunity to perform Püjä of ÇRÉ GURUDEVA, offering prasädé tulasé, candana, puñpa and mälyam to ÇRÉ GURUDEVA and praying for Blessings at THEIR LOTUSFEET.

Blessed Devotees also got the Opportunity to try to glorify ÇRÉ GURUDEVA, expressing their feelings, sharing their hearts, gratitude towards ÇRÉ GURUDEVA.

Presentations depicting the importance of GURU in a disciple’s life lovingly prepared by the Devotees by putting in all their labour of love was shown.

Then came the time when ÇRÉ GURUDEVA showered the Devotees with the nectarine rains of Their Amåta Väëé through the melodious Maìgläcaraëa and revolutionary Hari Kathä.

ÇRÉ GURUDEVA revealed the truth of this material world, i.e. dukhälayam (a place of miseries) as said  in Bhagavad Gétä, also enlightening the devotees with Lord Çiva’s opinion of this world i.e. Saìkaöälayam. Such grave topic was explained with very easy to understand explanations so as to benefit the masses. Further, the importance of taking näma throughout the day with all routine activities including while cooking bhoga, cutting vegetables, honouring prasädam etc was also elaborated. The most important thing in a Disciple’s life – GURU NIÑÖHA, following GURU ÄGYÄ was also explained by ÇRÉ GURUDEVA citing various remarkable examples. Fortunate Devotees then got the opportunity to make offerings to ÇRÉ GURUDEVA, receiving immense blessings on the BLESSED DAY. Offerings to Devotees were also made by the Devotees, carrying the outstanding KARM culture, the mercy instructions of Çré Rüpa Gosvämé. Gifts including towels set, tokri of namkeens, eatables, biscuits, soya katoris, varieties of namkeens, lemon pickle, ketchup, herbs, sweets, dry fruits, custard, toffees pack, slippers, dustbin, handwash, pens, glass container, plates and lots of agarbattis were served.

A very beautiful 12 months calendar prepared by devotees was served to ÇRÉ GURUDEVA and to all the Devotees, reflecting the GURUMAYÉ 12 months to be lived by a disciple. Sumptous Prasädam was served to Devotees.

Then came the never wished for moment, when ÇRÉ GURUDEVA left from the Venue, leaving all Devotees in tears of separation and the desire to relish again the MERCIFUL DARÇANA..

Devotees continued with their services for the day including packing, winding up seva with ever increasing enthusiasm..for nothing could ever deviate them from the teachings imparted upon them by ÇRÉ GURUDEVA.

This way, the beautiful DAY came to an end, filling the hearts of the Devotees with the ever increasing desire for next DARÇANA.
